Campaigns For Change

Adeli

Women working in the food industry have to give up 21% of their monthly income due to age-old taboos and stigmas associated with menstruation.

Unipads decided to take a stand for women and campaign against this taboo that costs them their livelihood. This is the genesis of Adeli - a journey that challenges taboos, sparks conversation, and empowers women in India.

Painting A Different Period Narrative

According to the Unicef reports, 71% of rural girls are not aware of menstruation during their first period.

Such lack of information is the cause of grave issues like mental trauma, and unhygienic methods for managing periods.

With the help of our extensive Kalyani network (MHM Educators & Unipads Distributors across rural India), we organized a state-wide painting competition for adolescent girls on the topic of empowering women by improvising menstrual health and eradicating myths and social stigma.
